The 2023 Easter Jeep Safari had a special participant this year, Sasquatch. After making its debut at SEMA in November, the custom overland beast put its strength to the test in the Moab, Utah event. A nine day long grueling drive across the most challenging terrain. Teams conquer everything from sandy creek crossings to rocky shelves and hills. The drive train, chassis, and suspension are tested continuously for function and durability.
“Our latest build, a 1979 Jeep Wagoneer we call Sasquatch, spent a week in Moab running trails and in the dunes. We were curious how the 392 Hemi would do, especially in the rocks where over heating can be a concern. The cooling system from DeWitts worked flawlessly! We are very impressed with these products.” Trent Campbell – President – CarBuff Network
The cooling system consisted of a downflow DeWitts Pro Series radiator with standard press formed tanks and brackets to fit the stock core support. Two 11" SPAL brushless puller fans were coupled to the radiator with a DeWitts fabricated shroud. Black Ice coating completed the look and added the protection needed for a long life in a punishing environment.
"We were excited to see this family project come together. For Trent, the crew, and everyone involved to reach the performance goals they desired, and get to make these memories, gives everyone here at DeWitts great pride." Mike Long - Director of Operations - DeWitts Radiator
