Corvettes do many things quite well. From hot lapping the drag strip to stretching its legs on the road course, or even taking in a cross-country road trip, the Corvette has the power, handling, braking, and comfort to handle anything you can throw at it. That is until you notice the temp gauge climbing, that sweet tattle tale whiff of coolant, and steam exiting your hood gaps when the stock cooling system is overwhelmed by aftermarket high performance upgrades.
With the radiator design GM used on the C6 Corvette, like many designs on the road today, product costs and installation methods on the assembly line dictate the product and its compromises. An aluminum radiator core with injection molded plastic end tanks that are crimped to the core, sealed with a giant O-ring, means Chevrolet’s Corvette befalls the same issues as most vehicles using a similar radiator design when asked to do more that it was designed for.
While this design saves weight and allows mounts to be molded into the tank, saving the cost of additional bracketry to secure the radiator, the vibration felt throughout the chassis from powerful engine upgrades and extended hard driving puts a lot of strain on these mounting points, creating cracks, and the harmonics/twisting motion creates leaks at the crimping point of the plastic end tanks. Built to Fit Your Corvette with Zero Modifications to Install

We get it, the injection molded end tanks save money and are easy to manufacture while handling the Corvette’s stock cooling needs, but that’s not how we do things with DeWitts radiators. Our Pro Series Direct Fit® C6 Corvette radiator is built using the highest quality aluminum materials, assembled, furnace brazed, and TIG welded all in our Wixom, Michigan facility (just 30 mins up I-96 from GM’s corporate headquarters at the Renaissance Center).
Each radiator carries a limited lifetime warranty, is pressure tested, and carefully double wall boxed with insulation to ensure it makes the trip to you and keeps your project moving forward.
Our press formed end tanks mean you won’t have any fitment issues and your factory cooling hoses, oil cooler lines, fan shroud, and more will all connect right up without modification. Flat plate welded end tanks that our competitors use rarely have this luxury, requiring modifications to your car to fit the larger tanks and/or additional bracketry or adapters to refit your stock components.
Using a two-row core built with 1-inch-wide core tubes and serpentine cooling fins maximizes air flow contact through the core to pull away the most heat, no matter the demand on the system, while increasing coolant capacity by one gallon over the stock single row core. Automatic transmission-equipped models feature a 7-plate internal cooler (twice the capacity of the stock cooler) while our engine oil cooler, also a 7-plate design, can be fitted optionally to radiator applications that weren’t originally fitted for one.
Our Black Ice two-part epoxy coating is a semi-gloss black finish that provides an OE-like look for those that want to keep things low key under the hood.

C6 Corvette Pro Series Direct Fit® Radiator Options

Our C6 Corvette radiator replacement starts with our 32-1139105M DeWitts radiator for base non-Z51 models with manual transmissions. Depending upon application needs we provide the correct end tank configurations for hassle free connection to factory coolers and mounting points and to our optional dual 11-inch electric fan package if so equipped.


For driver’s side aluminum radiator tank internal engine oil cooler fitted radiators we offer a direct replacement oil cooler hose kit with built in factory-style 7psi bypass and our own custom AN -10 oil cooler hose kit with billet engine adapter that makes installation and hose routing a bit easier. Either one of these oil cooler line kits will allow you to run our 7-plate internal engine oil cooler on applications that were not factory equipped with one.


Finally, be sure to add some DeWitts High Performance coolant to your order to protect your cooling system and help it achieve maximum thermal capabilities.

These electric fans connect easily to your factory electric fan wiring, allowing full control from the PCM and flow 2,780 cfm (a 40 percent improvement over the stock fan) to keep your Corvette running cool no matter the demand you place on it! 1. What is DeWitts C6 (32-SP463 and #32-SP463SC) fan upgrade? 

DeWitts C6 Corvette dual fan kit (32-SP463 and #32-SP463SC) is designed to fit our Pro-Series C6 radiators. This fan upgrade includes two high-performance SPAL 11” puller fans, a full shroud, mounting brackets, and our #32-E107 C6 pigtail. This kit ensures superior airflow, cooling efficiency, and durability. Please note, that this fan upgrade only fits DeWitts Pro-Series radiators. Model 32-SP463 will fit our full-height radiator and #32-SP463SC is designed to fit our cut-down radiators.  

The 32-SP463 and #32-SP463SC C6 Corvette dual fan kits include the SPAL #32-30102052 dual 11” puller fans with 2720 CFM.

2. Will the OEM C6 Corvette control module fit the DeWitts #32-SP463 and #32-SP463SC fan upgrade kit?

If you’re considering using one of our radiator fan combos, like #32-4139105A or #32-4139105B, with your C6 Corvette, rest assured that it is compatible with the factory fan controller. There’s an aluminum bracket included with our assembly where the OEM fan controller will be mounted. You won’t need to worry about buying a new control module, as this kit is designed to be compatible with your existing setup.

3. Are the DeWitts C6 radiator and fan combo kits plug and play?

While DeWitts C6 Corvette radiator fan combo and add-on fan kits are designed for ease of installation, it’s important to note that they are not completely plug-and-play. In particular, the stock wiring is hardwired into the original fan motor and has a multi-wire plug in the controller, so some modification is necessary.

To complete the installation, you will need to:

  • Remove the stock fan controller from the original fan shroud
  • Mount it to our new assembly
  • Splice the red and black wires from the stock fan motor into the corresponding red and black wires on our fan kit

4. Which radiator is right for my C6 Corvette (model year specific)?

We offer different radiators for various 2005-2013 C6 Corvette models, and each one is tailored to the specific needs of your car. Below is a summary of recommended options:

C6 Corvette with ECS supercharger and headers: We recommend the #32-1139125A cut-down radiator and the #32-SP473SC dual brushless fan kit. You can also get it with a built-in oil cooler if necessary.

 

6. Can I add an oil cooler to my base model 2005-2013 Corvette that did not come with an oil cooler?

If you own a base C6 Corvette that did not come with an oil cooler, you can still add one to your radiator. DeWitts model #32-1139105M is designed for manual transmission base models, but if you want to add an internal engine oil cooler, the #32-1139105E is the option for you. It includes a 7-plate aluminum cooler in the driver-side tank. You’ll need an oil cooler line kit, such as DeWitts #32-894D, which includes the necessary fittings, lines, and adapter block.

7. Radiator and fan upgrades for supercharged C6 Corvettes:

For supercharged and heavily modified C6 Corvettes like those with the Vortech A&A kit, DeWitts cut-down radiators are the perfect solution. The #32-4139125B radiator fan combo will keep your supercharged engine running cool even in extreme conditions. The cut-down radiator provides extra clearance over the top of the radiator. The #32-4139125B model has a built-in engine oil cooler so you can remove the factory external oil cooler for added clearance. Added clearance is needed when installing the A&A intercooler, and this is the perfect solution to minimize extra parts.

8. What C6 Corvette radiator do I need with my wet sump or dry sump motor?
